When I was young (in the late 80s) I used to be concerned about what my stomach looked like when I was sitting in a swimsuit.  My mother always told me, “You have to have the ripples, otherwise when you stand up you would rip!”

Who: Axl, 4 year old boy

Background and Conversation: Axl was complaining about a really horrible stomach ache, and I told him it was probably all of the apple juice he drank. He said, and I swear this is an exact quote, “Thanks a lot, apple juice. I loved you so much and now the trust is ruined.”

Then he puked 3 times all over my couch and white rug.
