Always in the car, My youngest ” mom what is a herpes?” Me ” What, why do you want to know that?” Youngest replies while looking at older brother sitting next to him in back seat ” cause I think he’s got some!!!!!”

Who: Mommy, Danny(3), and Reed(1 yr)
Reed just had his birthday party and ate a TON of green icing off his cake. Later that night, I was changing a #2 diaper while Danny, older brother, watched. The #2 that came out of Reed looked identical to the green icing they ate off the cake, 100% unprocessed. So Danny says,
“Mommy, can I have some of that?”

Scene: Tucking brother in for bed.
Who: Mommy, Alex (4), and Theo (18 mo)
Background and Conversation: I tried to throw an Elmo doll in Theo’s crib just before bed but he threw it out of the crib and screamed (as usual, he HATES new items in his crib). Alex says,
“He is picky about who he sleeps with, I bet he won’t be picky when he is a big boy.”

Background and Conversation: The boy says to to the tour guide, “That looks like the cage my Mommy puts my brother in at night.”

Scene: Eating Lunch at Kitchen Table, Baby Brother just spilled milk on the floor.
Who: Mommy and Theo, a four year old boy
Conversation:
Mommy: “Uh, oh spilled milk.”
Theo: “Did it go everywhere?”
Mommy: “Yep”
Theo: “Did it go on the floor?”
Mommy: “Yep”
Theo: “Did it go all over the stairs?”
Mommy: “No…silly”
Theo: “Well then it didn’t go everywhere, everywhere would be all over the place. We would have to get out of the house.”
Mommy: “You are right..it isn’t everywhere.”
Theo: “Bad girl mommy, you shouldn’t say everywhere if you didn’t mean everywhere”
